Nappy bag packing list

The list below is taken from a list of suggestions from Gr8 Expectations on what to pack in a nappy bag. I have stripped it down heaps to the bear minimum, you can always add more. At the moment my bub is 4 mnths old, so no doubt the need will change as she grows and I update as needed.I was given the Jeep Nappy bay as a gift and have found it to be wonderful, much better than some of the more expensive bags as you can open it and close it, and fish for things with one hand, while the other is busy holding a squirmy bub. It also has a changing mat and waterproof bag (for wet clothes and etc) built-in. Wooder's Garage

  • 3-4 nappies - 1 for every 2 hours is a good guide
  • travel-sized container of wipes
  • soft, waterproof changing pad
  • soft cloth diaper/nappy to protect yourself when feeding and for burping
  • 1-2 changes of clothing (usually I just pack a spare onesie)
  • a baby wrap or blankets (check out gr8x stretch swaddling wraps
  • dummy and dummy cover
  • Aquim or Dettol antibac handwash
  • small comfort toy
  • another shirt or top for yourself in case you get any spills on you
  • water for you and or baby
  • any milk for feeding baby in an insulated bottle bag

That’s what I start with and build from there...
